Following an extensive executive search process led by National Council, The Tax Institute today announced the confirmation of the appointment of Giles Hurst in the permanent role as CEO of The Tax Institute. Giles Hurst will be commencing in the role on 23 April 2018.

Giles comes to The Tax Institute with an international career spanning almost 30 years, with leadership experience gained across European and Asian markets. Tax Institute President, Tracey Rens, CTA says “With his diverse commercial experience, Giles will bring a fresh set of eyes to the organisation to deliver on our new vision and strategic initiatives. Giles is looking forward to meeting with members and working with committees and staff in the months ahead.
